This drawings shows a man in a variety of poses, looking at a portable electronic reader. The client had specific requirements about the positioning of the subject, in order to show various distances and angles of the device in relationship to the subject. As illustrators, we needed to keep the drawings clear and the device easily discernible. We thought the best way to do this was to have a model (Aryeh Leib volunteered) pose in the correct positions. Yonith then took photos of the poses, which she used as a basis for her drawings. The subjects thus came out realistic, and exactly tailored to the client’s requirements.
