This illustration required a lot of good, old-fashioned drawing. Of course we used a vector graphic program to produce clear, uniform lines. It takes a lot of practice to truly master the drawing tools, so that the clicks of the mouse feel as comfortable as a pencil in the hand. Producing this drawing was rewarding proof that the tools of the trade are truly under our command.
