We received this design together with the previous design, as the work of a different illustrator which had received a rejection. It, too, required redrawing and rectification. One of the objections involved a series of concentric ovals on the top of the filter which appeared inconsistently in two different views. We had neither a photograph of the art, nor the CAD representation of what it would look like, so we did not know which was the correct view. This highlights the importance of good communication between the illustrator and the client. The illustrator can help point out the details that are necessary for an accurate drawing, but must rely on the client to provide the correct answers.
